Spectator Entry Regulations for the UEFA Youth League Match in Jelgava
Ahead of the FS Jelgava U19 vs. KA Akureyri U19 clash on 17 September at the ZOC Jānis Lūsis Stadium, visitors are advised to review the safety requirements, prohibited items, and filming guidelines in effect during the event.
In accordance with UEFA regulations, Latvian law and stadium safety requirements, all spectators must comply with the following rules:
1. Entry and Access
· Entry to the stadium is permitted with a valid ticket or accreditation.
· Free entry is granted to:
• children under 7 years of age;
• persons with disabilities;
• pensioners;
• FK “Jelgava” and FS “Jelgava” academy players wearing official club kit.
· A ticket or eligibility for free admission is valid for one person only and must be presented together with an identity document upon request.
· Re-entry with the same ticket is not allowed.
· Children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult.
2. Prohibited Items
It is strictly forbidden to bring into the stadium:
· Weapons, sharp or dangerous objects, fireworks, smoke bombs, pyrotechnics, or laser pointers.
· Loud sound devices, including plastic or metal horns, air horns (such as those shown in the reference photo), megaphones or similar items.
· Alcohol, narcotics, glass bottles, cans, or other containers that may pose a risk.
· Large bags (exceeding A4 size), professional cameras or video equipment without prior authorization.
· Banners, flags, clothing or symbols containing offensive, racist, xenophobic, political or discriminatory content.
· Drones, umbrellas with sharp ends, or any items that may endanger others.
3. Prohibited Behaviour
Spectators must not:
· Enter the pitch or restricted areas at any time.
· Throw objects, use pyrotechnics, or behave aggressively.
· Engage in racist, xenophobic, discriminatory or political chants, gestures or displays.
· Block stairways, exits or emergency routes.
· Be under the influence of alcohol or drugs inside the stadium.
4. Security and Controls
· All visitors are subject to security checks at entry, including bag inspections and body searches.
· Stadium staff and police reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals violating these rules.
· Video surveillance will be in operation throughout the stadium.
5. Liability
· Spectators must follow the instructions of stewards, security personnel, and announcements made over the public address system.
· Any breach of these rules may result in expulsion from the stadium, cancellation of the ticket, fines, or criminal liability under Latvian law and UEFA disciplinary regulations.
6. Filming and Photography
· Please note that filming and photography will take place during the event.
· Photo and video materials may be used by FS “Jelgava”, UEFA and media partners, including publication on websites, social media, and in press materials.
· By attending the event, spectators consent to their image being captured and used for the above-mentioned purposes.
· Individuals who do not wish to be filmed or photographed are advised to refrain from attending the event.
